DISCOVER HA GIANG – THE PRISTINE BEAUTY OF VIETNAM’S NORTHERNMOST LAND
Join us on a unique journey to explore the most iconic and breathtaking destinations in Hà Giang – where majestic landscapes meet the rich cultural heritage of Northern Vietnam's highland ethnic communities.
Day 1: Ha Giang – Bac Sum Pass- Lung Khuy cave – Nam Dam village 8:00AM After breakfast, we'll depart from Ha Giang City and begin our adventure into the legendary Ha Giang Rocky Plateau.
On the way, we'll stop at:
  • Bac Sum Pass – The gateway to the Dong Van Karst Plateau, known for its winding roads and lush mountain views.
  • Quan Ba Heaven Gate – A high mountain pass with a breathtaking panorama of the valley below.
  • Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom) – A unique pair of perfectly rounded hills that have become an iconic symbol of Quan Ba.
12:00 PM Lunch in Quan Ba town
  • After lunch, we'll park the vehicles and take a scenic 2km hike to Lung Khuy Cave – the most beautiful and well-preserved limestone cave in the region
  • Check-in at a traditional homestay in Nam Dam Cultural Village, home to the Dao ethnic people.
19:00PM Enjoy the family dinner
Day 2: Nam Dam village – Lung Cu flag tower – Dong Van 8:00 AM: After breakfast, the journey continues deeper into the heart of the Ha Giang Loop with visits to:
  • Tham Ma Pass – A famous serpentine mountain road where horses were once used to test strength; now a popular photo stop with stunning views.
  • The H'mong King's Palace (Dinh Vua Meo) in Sa Phin Valley – A historically significant royal residence with unique Chinese-French-Vietnamese architecture that tells the story of the powerful Vuong family.
12:30 PM: Drive to Lung Cu, the northernmost commune of Vietnam, and enjoy lunch in the village.
  • Visit and climb up to Lung Cu Flag Tower – a national symbol marking Vietnam's northernmost point. From the top, you'll see a spectacular panoramic view and even the border with China.
  • Visit Lo Lo Chai Village, nestled at the base of the flag tower, where traditional Lo Lo houses offer a peaceful ambiance.
  • Depart Lung Cu and head to Dong Van Town.
17:00PM: Check in to your accommodation and enjoy a delicious local dinner.
  • Enjoy a free walk around ancient town.
Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Nho Que river – Meo Vac – Du Gia village 8:00 AM: Breakfast in Dong Van Town (on weekends, you can visit the Dong Van Sunday Market).
  • Sky Pass: hiking 2km and enjoy panoramic views of the stunning landscapes along this scenic route.
  • Ma Pi Leng Pass: One of the four most beautiful passes in Vietnam, offering breathtaking views of deep valleys
  • Nho Que river: spend some hours flowing along the jade-colored Nho Que River
  • Hmong Villages: Pass through traditional Hmong villages, where you can see local life and interact with the people.
12:30 PM Lunch break: Stop for lunch in Mau Due Village, a peaceful area surrounded by nature.
  • After lunch, continue your ride toward Du Gia Village.
  • Sa Li Pass: Another scenic pass known for its beauty and dramatic views.
  • Lung Ho Viewpoint: A perfect stop to take in the vast, green mountain landscapes.
  • Du Gia Waterfall: A tranquil waterfall tucked away in nature, a great spot to relax and take photos.
  • Check-in at a Tay ethnic homestay in Du Gia Village.
19:30 PM: Enjoy a traditional family dinner.
Day 4: Du Gia village – DuongThuong – Thai An – Ha Giang 8:00 AM – Start your day with breakfast at the homestay, surrounded by peaceful mountain views.
  • Visit Du Gia Market (only on Saturday) – A colorful local market where Tay people gather to trade goods, share stories, and wear their traditional costumes.
  • Duong Thuong Viewpoint – A stunning panoramic stop overlooking valleys
12:00 PM: Lunch in Thai An
  • Journey through the scenic route Thai An – Thuan Hoa – Ha Giang City, soaking in the dramatic landscapes of limestone peaks and peaceful villages and some small waterfall beside the road. You also can swim there.
16:00 PM – End of the motorbike tour at our hostel in Ha Giang City.
