Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van

The first morning begins in Ha Giang City before heading north into the mountains.

As the road climbs away from the city, the scenery gradually opens into valleys, mountain passes and rural communities. Quan Ba marks an important transition into the higher landscape, before the journey continues through Yen Minh toward Dong Van.

The road itself is an important part of the first day. Rather than traveling directly from one attraction to another, guests experience a continuous sequence of mountain views, villages and changing terrain.

By the time the group reaches Dong Van, the landscape has become noticeably more rugged and rocky.

The evening provides time to rest after the first full day on the road and experience the atmosphere of one of the Loop’s best-known mountain towns.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac – Du Gia

The second day takes travelers through some of the most dramatic scenery of the entire journey.

From Dong Van, the route moves through the high mountains toward the Ma Pi Leng area. The Wings itinerary also includes a Sky Pass hiking experience of approximately 2 km, adding an opportunity to experience part of the landscape away from the vehicle.

Ma Pi Leng is one of the defining landscapes of Ha Giang. Limestone mountains rise dramatically around the road, while the canyon and river below emphasize the scale of the terrain.

The journey then continues toward Meo Vac before moving onward through Hmong communities and mountain roads toward Mau Due and the Du Gia area. Wings' itinerary includes Sa Li Pass and Lung Ho Viewpoint along this section.

Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Thai An – Thuan Hoa – Ha Giang

The final day leaves Du Gia and continues through the mountain landscapes around Duong Thuong.

Compared with the famous northern plateau, this section can feel quieter and more rural. Valleys, villages and agricultural scenery create a different final chapter to the Loop.

The route then continues through Thai An and Thuan Hoa before returning to Ha Giang City.

This means the final day is not simply a direct transfer back to the starting point. Travelers continue experiencing mountain roads and local landscapes until the closing stages of the journey.
